German WWI Egg Grenade, INERT

Original era manufacture. Black painted cast iron body with a segmented ring around its middle. Lead shipping plug in the top of the body. This is an offensive grenade rather than a red painted training example. No explosives whatsoever. Came with a small lot of US 33rd Infantry Division relics.
