Japanese Tanto Dagger & Scabbard

Original era manufacture. Another restoration project for your viewing pleasure, 7 inch hand forged blade displaying two mounting holes and a signature on the tang. The blade is clean, no major nicks in the cutting edge, the tip is not broken but it has been cleaned with none of the temper line remaining visible. Simple copper tsuba with several metal spacers. Classic electrical tape repair to the rayskin covered grip, the pommel endcap is missing. Decent lacquered wood scabbard with portions of its painted surface missing.
