German WWII M1933 SS EM Dagger, Boker Mfg.

Original era manufacture. Early quality dagger with nickel fittings and an anodized scabbard body. All screws are present in the scabbard fittings and the ball tip has a typical, but shallow dent. There are also a few shallow dents to the body surface on the sides and 50% surface corrosion with most of that occuring on the reverse, decent color elsewhere. The blade is very clean, showing original polish and a sharp tip. The edges have not been sharpened and the surface shows runner wear only. There is just a bit of light surface corrosion/darkening on the ricasso. Unit marked I on the reverse of the lower guard. The wood grip has a nice gloss to its surface and shows normal wear in the form of shallow dents and scratches, with some lifting of the wood edges next to the upper & lower guard. Included with the dagger is an original black leather vertical hanger and belt loop. The hanger is sound, with a small tear in the scabbard strap near the buckle. The metal fittings of the hanger show surface corrosion but have not been cleaned in a long time. An honest and correct dagger showing some age but complete.
