Japanese WWII Type 96 LMG Magazine

Original era manufacture. Stamped steel magazine with a blue finish now covered in an ordnance green paint. This was found on the island of Attu early in WWII and brought home by a Seabee. The magazine appears to function properly and the paint can be removed if you wish to reveal the original finish. The paper tag was placed on it by the Seabee for identification purposes. We tried a 7.7 & 6.5 round in the magazine and the 6.5 round fit perfectly, the 7.7 was a bit too long.
