German WWII M1933 SS EM Dagger, Gottlieb Hammesfahr

Original era manufacture. Early quality dagger with nickel fittings and an anodized scabbard body. All screws are present in the scabbard fittings and the ball tip has a typical shallow dent. There are also a few shallow dents to the body surface, but the body color is strong. The blade is very clean showing original polish and a sharp tip. The edges have not been sharpened and the surface shows runner wear only. The wood grip has a nice gloss to its surface and shows normal wear in the form of shallow dents and scratches, there is a short crack on the reverse just above the lower guard. Included with the dagger is an original black leather hanger and belt loop, maker marked OLC and RZM marked. A very clean example showing normal light age and wear.
