Description
Worn M35 blue colored double decal steel helmet. This particular helmet started its life with two decals and glossy blue paint in 1937. During the war, by regulations, the decals were coveree with a smooth layers of blue paint covering both decals. The decals were both 'dug out' or 'liberated' by a collector after the war. But he did a good job and the helmet still looks great. Single band aluminum liner remains inside, leather is still strong for its age. Liner band is dated 1937. Draw string is a replacement. Shell marked Q64 and 4670 in the rear.
