Bayonets British British Martini-Henry Bayonet & Scabbard, 10'99, Matching

Item #65746 : Original era manufacture. A sound example of the classic Martini-Henry bayonet as used by the British Army. Polished steel blade measures 21 3/4 inches in length, overall clean with scattered areas of clouding and light surface corrosion. Light nicking to the bottom edge of the blade. Service number 1157 hand stamped into the blade which matches the number on the scabbard. Dated 10 '99 on the ricasso. Blue steel socket with no issues. Very sound brass mounted black leather bodied scabbard, again with a hand stamped number 1157.
