Description
Rare and worn genuine FJ jump smock in good condition. Executed in Splittertarn camouflage. The breast eagle is original applied in zig-zag stitching, being also a camouflaged 'smock'-type eagle worth a small fortune on its own today! The smock is complete with all of its zippers, yet some of them are not functional anymore. Three of them are made by Rapid and one by Elite. It's very common to see mixed zippers on late war smocks. The front remains in very good condition, perfect for a mannequin. The back of the smock shows two very nicely made (perhaps period?) repairs, some cloth was used of the back of the collar. Other than these repairs, this remains a very desirable smock with original applied eagle! Maker marked with a partially faded RBNr. manufacturer code and dated 1944 (I deem). This would make an excellent mid- to late-war display!
