Item #63748 : Original period manufacture. Bronze medal measuring 35 mm with original ribbon. Established by law in 1911, with additional amendments added in 1912, 1921, and 1923 which enlarged the pool of eligibility for recipients, to include children as young as fourteen who served in the emergency battalions raised during the war.
