Equipment German East German, Old Style Catch, Enlisted Army Belt Buckle

Item #49393 : Original era manufacture. Pebbled steel buckle, made in the classic German fashion; double mounting prong system with a standing loop catch. Very clean, light wear and use. At some point during the history of the German Democratic Republic, the catch system was changed from a loop to a hooked catch. This buckle is in the pattern used from the Franco-Prussian War through WWII.Several in stock, minor details will vary, all are quite clean.
