Item #56287 : Original era photography. Double 9th plate Daguerreotypes housed in a two sided mother of pearl case. The first image is of a pretty young woman with a book in her hand. When you flip it over there is a 1/9th plate Daguerreotype of a young man in a dress coat and tie. The mother of pearl case has a loose front and back. The spine is intact but the covers are loose. The clasp is present. Mother of pearl inlay on the front.
