Photography Japanese Soldiers in China Photo, Early 1930's.

Item #55929 : Original era photography. A 5.5 x 4 inches image on an elaborate pressed paper, 8.75 x 6.75 mount. Shown are a group of five Japanese soldiers, one, an officer, is shown seated on a donkey which is being controlled by a Chinese man in traditional dress. Perhaps dating to the 1931-34 Manchurian Incident, as the uniforms and equipment appear to be from that era. Clear image, with kanji on the reverse.
