Photography Broadbent CDV

Item #1099 : This CDV was taken of a young boy at 22 months holding a ball. He has pink tinting on his cheeks. He is so small his feet barely reach the end of the chair. The backmark shows Broadbent and Phillips, 1206 Chestnut St, Philadelphia.Craigs Daguerrian Registery states that 'At some point subsequent to 1856, Broadbent entered a partnership with H. C. Phllips. He went from 428 Chestnut to 814 Chestnut to 1206 Chestnut Street. During his partnership with Phillips he moved to the corner of Tenth & Market Streets and remained there until his death. This is a nice piece of photographic history.
