Japanese WWII Era Police Patrolmsn's Sword

Original era manufacture. Polished steel blade which measures 18 inches in length with scattered staining, no real corrosion issues, two edge nicks below the point. Mellow brass patina guard, backstrap and pommel. Black leather wrapped grip bound with single strand twisted brass wire. Chrome plated scabbard, minor denting above the drag, taxicab or train door.
