German WWII Matching K98 Bayonet & Frog, Elite Diamante, 1938

Original era manufacture. A well worn matching K98 bayonet and scabbard by the desirable firm of  Elite Diamante, 9745e, 38 spine date. Traces of the satin blue finish remain on the blade along with evidence of hard service use. Mix of blue steel and surface patina on the pommel with a cleaned guard. Dark plum bakelite grips in good repair. Steel patina finish to the dent-free scabbard body which shows a cleaned corrosion pitted surface. Dismounted pattern leather frog in nice condition. All stitching is sound, never had a pommel strap. Not the prettiest example but a real one.
