Antique Toys, Cannons, Soldiers, Etc US WWII Era Toy GI Jeep

Item #65976 : Original era manufacture. Sheet metal Jeep in OD green with a white star on it's hood. All metal construction, even the tires. There is a small clockwork mechanism on the underside which looks to be powered by a rubber band. It doesn't work that well (I tried it..such a kid) but maybe if fiddled with a bit it can be improved upon. Missing the windshield. Measures 4.5 inches in length.
