Helmets Japanese Japanese WWII Type 90 Helmet Shell, Navy?

Item #65970 : Original era manufacture. Standard type 30 shell with most of the original paint remaining on the surface mixed with steel patina. All of the internal liner mounting loops and rings remain, with a faint kanji mark on the edge. Both of the original flat-head rivets are in place indicating Navy issue. Which is corroborated on the front of the helmet which does not show the outline of an Army star once being mounted their. Great basis for a restoration project.
