Swords German German Imperial Era, Kindersabel, Cuirassier Pattern, Weyersberg Proofed

Item #66131 : Original era manufacture. German Imperial era child's sword (Kindersabel) with a Weyersberg proof on the ricasso. Made in the form of a cuirassier officers sword with nearly the same quality as a full-size service modal. The overall length is 28 inches with a 23 inch plated steel blade, which runs straight and true out to the very sharp point. Mellow brass patina basket guard and pommel, with a fish skin wrapped grip bound with triple strand wire just like Papa's sword. Lightly dented black painted steel scabbard, with most of the original finish remaining. Very sound overall, the grip just needs tightening up a bit.
