US Pre WWI, 1899 Philippine Insurrection Medal, No.5899, Identified

Original era manufacture. Bronze planchet with its original ribbon and wrap brooch suspension. Numbered on the edge No 5899. Very clean ribbon. This medal was awarded to Edward Eckam, who, according to Ancestry, served in the 11th Cavalry in 1901, later as a cook at West Point, USMA.
