- THIS ITEM IS SOLD Custom-tailored M36style tunic for an Oberfeldwebel (Spieß) in Kavallerie-Regiment 5, constructed of a thick high quality doeskin wool, lined in a dark green ribbed silk-like material, with two large internal chest pockets, includes strap and slit for dagger or sword hanger, with integral hook and eye at the waist, dark green pointed collar with mounted litzen tabs thickly piped in golden yellow, each sew in strap features metal Totenkopf emblem and one pap, collar and shoulder strap tresse are of non metallic rayon, the Speiß rings are of the wider metallic parade tresse variety and are machine applied, the national emblem is the rarer bright woven type made using non metallic threads, the national emblem appears to have been re-sewn at some point, there are loops for two badges and a short ribbon bar, ribbon bar is included, ribbon for EKII in button hole, silver piped Feurwerker specialty patch is hand sewn to the lower right sleeve, condition is excellent, there is one pin hole sized moth hole on the lower left pocket, a small whitish mark on the upper right shoulder and some slight tarnish to the skull on one strap, beautiful piece with officer quality throughout, featured in Carsten Frie's book 'Riding Into the Twilight', please inquire to info@virtualgrenadier.com for additional information or detailed photos,
