Rare set of Luftwaffe pilot's channel jacket and trousers

- THIS ITEM IS SOLD Set of Luftwaffe pilot's channel jacket and trousers, type associated with use in the Mediterranean and other warm weather theaters, jacket and trousers are made from a tan colored water repellent cotton, jacket has functional metal zipper marked RAPID with grey leather pull, there are two RRYM marked snaps at waistband and one at the throat, a fastening tab with buttons is located under the collar, each cuff may be fastened with two buttons, sleeves are lined in blue grey artificial silk, jacket has one internal pocket, tag size, date and RBNr are located just above the waistband on the internal fly, an internal tightening belt at the waist appears to have been removed, blue grey backed national emblem is a well-executed replacement, matching Kanalhose are partially lined in the same type of silk material, the numerous snaps are operational and also marked PRYM, zippers are marked both RAPID and ZIPP and all are operational, aluminum buckles and web tabs are positioned at the waist, label at the waist includes size, RBNr and manufacture date, set has been worn but is in very sound condition, the jacket has a few tiny stains, the trousers show some areas of rust staining at the upper left waist and to the right thigh, rare ensemble and ultra desirable, please inquire to info@virtualgrenadier.com for additional information or photos,
