Luftwaffe Fur Winter Overcoat

Luftwaffe Fur Winter Overcoat (Pelzmantel). The sheep skin overcoat was designed for wear in extremely cold climates. Three quarter length, white coloured, machine stitched, multi-panel, patchwork white fur sheep skin construction overcoat having a Luftwaffe grey woolen collar and internal hood. The overcoat features an overlapping front closure with three leather reinforced closure straps. The overcoat is faintly maker marked and showing various size markings and looks to be dated 1943. The overcoat shows normal usage and wear and some small damages and minor moth damage to the collar, see photos. The overcoat is cut large enough to fit over the standard uniform. Great original item for an Eastern Front display.
