- THIS ITEM IS SOLD Appealing Heer Panzer officer's visored cap produced by the firm of Otto Schlientz, mid war made example with body of ribbed trikot wool, dark green colored cap band and thick rosa colored piping are made of felt, silver metallic chincord is affixed with two finely pebbled silver buttons, lining materials are a dark grey colored rayon and sweatband is a dark grey colored leather, folded paper has been placed behind the sweatband at the forehead to improve fit, the celluloid sweat diamond ins intact but some of the foil lettering has loosened between diamond and lining, the finely detailed hand embroidered national emblem and wreath on dark green wool are hand applied, the metal rosette looks to have a red painted center on burlap, externally the appearance is excellent and fabric is completely without insect damage, there are a few spots to sweatband and liner, with a beautiful shape and about a size 59, superior wartime made piece,
