- THIS ITEM IS SOLD Service used Heer EM M43 cap, mid war quality example made of field grey wool with lining of ribbed grey colored cotton that has yellowed from wear, with faint black stampings having RBNr, date (indistinguishable) and size 56, the machine woven trapezoid shaped insignia is factory machine applied in the straight stitched 'zip and flip' method, cap has two painted pebbled buttons to the front and these are originally sewn, cap is worn and yellowed from wear, there are a few picks to the fabric but no significant damage, the inner brim stiffener is a bit uneven from having become wet,
