- THIS ITEM IS SOLD Heer Artillerie officer 'crusher' style visored cap, interesting cap having pliable black finished leather visor, cap body of field grey wool and with cap band of dark green wool, with thick red colored wool piping, cap is lined in cream colored artificial silk, celluloid sweat diamond has cracks and has some missing sections, with thin leatherette sweatband, zinc insignia has uniformly grey finish, cap body is worn and has several pinhead sized holes to the top and another to the right underneath side, several sections of the upper cap band piping have moth damage but these areas are not visible without lifting the sides of the cap body, the stitching holding the sweatband at the point where it meets the inner visor has popped and that section has come loose, in addition two lengths of the sweatband have worn through at the wearer's left front and rear, finally, areas of the lower rear felt edge have worn areas revealing the inner pasteboard band stiffener, cap appears all original and has a pleasing field worn look, estimate size 56,
