- THIS ITEM IS SOLD Heer Panzer officer's visored cap, saddle shape, cap body of fine quality wool, dark green wool band, bright rosa colored wool piping, silver metallic chincord, silver pebbled metal buttons that secure chin cord are held by prongs, aluminum national emblem and wreath, there are two extra holes in the lining from a former eagle's application, cap has a cream colored lining of artificial silk, full celluloid sweat diamond with marking Sonderklasse Stirndruckfrei DRGM Ges Gesch, full supple leather sweatband embossed Stirndruckfrei, felt backing behind sweatband at the forehead, about size 57, cap has an excellent shape and is quite clean, there is some light internal soiling, the cap's top has a few areas of minor insect tracking and a couple of small pinhead sized holes, the left overhang also has a few scattered areas of tracking and one pinhole that visible under close inspection, finally there are a few nicks to the piping, one at the front above the wreath, a couple underneath where the cap body extends over the band on the left side and then a couple on the left side, despite the tiny flaws the cap has an elite appearance,
