Japanese WWII Wound Badge, Ko' Sho'

Original era manufacture. One of the three types of Imperial Japanese wound badges of the WWII era. This example would have been presented to a soldier injured in public service, most often contracting a severe illness such as Malaria.etc. Silver badge with a double prong mounting pin and anenameled obverse. Small amount of typically found age cracking in the enamel. Nice old silver patina finish.
