Description
World War 1 Iron Cross 2nd class (Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse). Re-instituted by King Wilhelm II on 5 August 1914 for award during WWI. The second class medal was for award to personnel who performed a single act of bravery in combat. The cross has a three piece construction and has a magnetic core. The cross is maker marked by an unknown manufacturer. Complete with its original 17cms long sized smaller type ribbon as found together. Nice original WW1 Iron Cross 2nd Class in good condition.
