French WWI M1916 37 mm Shell Casing, Trench Art, Kimball Collection

Original era manufacture. French WWI 37 mm shell casing which is nicely etched on the sides, Verdun, St. Mihiel with a floral design. This casing was once part of the famed Trench Art collection of Jane A. Kimball, author of the book, 'Trench Art, An Illustrated History'.
