Bayonets US US M1892 30-40 Krag Bayonet, 1900 Blade Date

Item #66603 : Original era manufacture. Polished steel blade with a 1900 date on the ricasso, factory edge, minor age staining only.Bright steel finish to the guard and pommel, original finish to the wood grips which displaying typical marring and denting from service use, no cracks or chips. Nice mix of steel patina and blue finish remaining on the scabbard, with a few, very small shallow dents. Some minor evidence of scattered surface corrosion.All in all a very clean 124 year old US issue bayonet.
