Israeli Modified, German WWII S84/98 Bayonet, Jos.Corts 1939

Original era manufacture. A most interesting example of an Israeli modified German WWII S84/98 service bayonet. The blade is maker marked Jos.Corts with a 39 date on the spine. The pommel waffenamts have been removed and a large muzzle ring was added to the guard. Dark plum German manufacture bakelite grips in good repar. Israeli made and marked steel scabbard. Overall the bayonet is quite clean with a fair amount of original finish and patina mix.
