Luftwaffe Combat Rucksack

Luftwaffe Combat 'Rucksack'. During the war the early M34 and M39 Affe backpacks were found to be too expensive and time consuming to produce which resulted in the production of a wide variety of less expensive canvas construction combat rucksacks and backpacks. The rucksack is executed in bluish-grey, 'heavy-duty' cotton and has a rounded fold over top flap. The rucksack is complete with its original leather carrying straps in good used condition, unfortunately one of the metal hooks is missing. The rucksack is nicely maker marked by the company 'A. Jeurgens' from Goch and dated 1940. The rucksack is in worn condition showing clear traces of usage and some small damages, see photos. Nice original rucksack in good used condition.
