WWII Era Kingdom of Italy Flag with Savoy Coat of Arms

WWII Era Kingdom of Italy Flag with Savoy Coat of Arms-This is a multi-piece Italian flag. It measures approximately 36 inches (91.44 cm) wide, by 54 inches (137.16 cm) wide. The Savoy Coat of Arms is printed into the white central portion and does show some moderate spots of discoloration throughout so please be sure to look closely at our photos. The red is bright in color, but unfortunately the green has faded to a dark gray color. This is most likely caused by having it hung up near a window or a bright light.  It does have a white reinforced hoist edge with rivets on each corner for hanging. There is some tearing at the top as well. Overall, this is a very nice Italian National Flag, which looks to have seen moderate service during the war. The Savoy Flag was adopted in 1861 and relinquished in 1946 with the current flag design. Interesting history, interesting flag.
