Historic Wall Tapestry, Veteran Bringback

This tapestry was brought back by a US GI, who accumulated many things during the days prior to and after  the surrender of Germany.  They include this item which was hanging in the wall of a train station. There are photographs of him holding it and it was famously featured on episode 138 of History Underground. Some screen captures of that episode are included as a reference. The banner is shown in the WWII period photos being held up full length by the soldier, an excellent reference showing its size and dimensions as compared to a 6 foot tall man. The owners of the item have decided to part with it so it is available here at SS Steel for the first time. A fine and very historic Third Reich artifact! COA accompanies.
