HOLD (k. sch.)Veteran Attributed Heer M40 Helmet, Q66

Sold

Description

This is a very interesting dark gray camo q66m40 Army with the Koerner Army shield on the left side. The condition is overall excellent including a bright blondish liner and fine condition well marked chin strap. Helmet appears to have been camouflaged for night or perhaps Flak operations, having a very unusual camo scheme in a basic dark gray. The helmet was brought back by a veteran and here are the remarks of the seller: 'the vet was C.F. Richards who served in the 94th infantry division, corps of engineers. The son said he picked it up in France 1945.' Overall a fine Q M40 with a cool history. COA accompanies.
