RZM Labeled, Minty SS M-40 Schiffchen Cap, With 1194/40 Skull

This is a minty, super rare example of the SS M40 Schiffchen, in the early pattern. These were first issued with the skull button, then fairly quickly transitioned over to the use of the Bevo skull combination. This change rendered these earlier types one of the rarest pieces of SS headgear. Fine black wool construction, satin style grey lining with full, sewn-in RZM tag and maker number; topped off with the 1940 style skull marked 1194/40. COA accompanies.
