M35 Double Decal Polizei Helmet

This is another M35 example from the old Midwest collection, consisting of an M35 ET62 double decal police helmet, #4729, showing moderate combat service wear. The shields consist of the unbordered police eagle and party decal, which is the classic ET pattern  A Telltale sign of field Duty aside from the normal wear, is the smooth, flat feldgrau over paint,  likely applied 1940-41. The liner is in very good condition, with nothing altered. The strap is a replacement, done years ago by the collector. A great piece for the combat polizei collection. COA accompanies.
