Early Allgemeine-SS Sturm Banner

This is an exquisite, early example of an Allgemeine-SS Sturm Banner. The banner measures 48″ wide, by 53″ long, and is crafted from fine quality linen. The swastika circle and swastika are applied in layers and correctly stitched– as can be seen in the photos. The black area of the swastika and Sturm numerals are of a black satin material. The edging and all parts of the stern number are hand embroidered by chain stitch and also hand applied. The suspension rings are likely of some silver content but are not marked.
