Named Waffen-SS Camouflage Helmet, Q66

This is a very desirable example of a Q66 Waffen SS single decal camouflage helmet, heat Lot number IN226. The helmet overall is in excellent service used condition with a tan and green camouflage finish (poss. eastern front style) covering most of the shell. The Q SS shield appears partially present under the paint, and the liner bears a name and rank, which appear to say 'SS-Uscha 'Wortmann'? ( of Interest a friend of mine sent a photograph from a 1984 publication called 'a time for trumpets' that has a picture of an LAH NCO named Karl Wortmann– No known connection whatsoever, but interesting to ponder). The liner itself is size marked 59 all the pins are flush and untouched and the liner overall is a beautiful golden brown serviceable condition. The original chinstrap bears the maker's logo, which is mostly illegible. It's been a while since a camo helmet this nice has popped up for sale, and it will make a great piece for the SS camo collection. COA accompanies.
