Outstanding SS Gebirgsjäger NCO Sahariana Tunic

This is a sharp tunic with all original badging, marked and dated 1943 including the buttons. It shows medium service wear and some sun fading, but overall shows a strong appearance. The sleeve eagle is the beautiful dark tan variety, and the right upper sleeve Bears the mountain troop Edelweiss patch. The shoulder boards are camouflage variety SS-unterscharführer rank, that appear to show slightly less wear and patina compared to the rest of the tunic. They are excellent original boards in their own right. The mission of these units was heavily in the anti-partisan realm, and they consisted of very tough members who operated in some of the roughest terrain of the war. A great jacket, COA accompanies.
