One of a handful of incredible items from a decades old US collection is this outstanding example of an early WW2 US M1917a1 “Kelly” Helmet. Finish and liner are excellent as shown and skirt looks to have name “Steve K…” And heat stamp D 179. Helmet is complete with net that has a wire twist that may or may not be period, which will be left as is. Beautiful and rare example for the US headgear collector. COA accompanies.
