Description

From a recent estate find is this World War II U.S. Navy Captain’s visor. This visor is in good condition for its age, and shows light signs of wear and expected age. The cap’s original internal label is present, and is marked “Art Caps New York” and was owned previously by a “Otis John Earle,” Captain, U.S. Navy. This navy officer is well documented for commanding USS Stingray and USS Barracuda submarine and sinking a Japanese freighter among other combat actions. Submarine commander visors don’t come around often and here is a chance to own a fine well documented example. COA accompanies.
