Luftwaffe M38 Single-D FJ Helmet, Untouched

This is very nice FJ helmet from an old local collection. The helmet is a single decal M38 early spanner, ET68 shell,  with lot number 1370. The straps are in very good condition and somewhat simple, with no rot. The liner similarly has no rot, but has had some shrinkage that has pulled away some of the stitching in the back. None of the screws have been touched and the entire helmet has the appearance of not being messed with at all. A lovely piece, despite some patina and a number of small dents to the top. Most of the Adler remains, with expected patina and scuffs. Overall a great collectible piece. COA accompanies.
