Scarce Luftwaffe Tropical Blue Schiffchen

From the Ron Wolin Collection, this 1942 dated cap was produced by the firm 'Berolina,' for Luftwaffe troops enroute to North Africa or potentially other areas of the Southern front. The cap is a typical Schiffchen form, with dark blue tropical weight muslin body and two piece machine embroidered Luftwaffe adler and roundel. These caps were worn with the HBT blue Luftwaffe uniform, also a scarce item.  Overall light to moderately service worn, a fine example. COA accompanies.
