Outstanding “HG” Division Infantry Officer's Tunic

This is a rare infantry piped tailored four pocket tunic for an officer of the famous “Fallschirm-Panzerdivision Hermann Göring”. The tabs are of the rank Leutnant, backed in white wool, corresponding with the white piped LW boards that signify infantry. The right breast features the Luftwaffe officer's eagle in bullion thread. The famous cufftitle “Hermann Göring” adorns the lower right cuff. This division was famous for action on the Italian front and elsewhere, distinguishing itself as a premier fighting force.
