RESERVED (b.s.) Likely Spanish Blue Division Helmet

Sold
$3300.00 β€”

Description

This M42 Heer helmet, ET66 #18(?)57, displays a moderately service used semi rough texture schiefergrau finish, with full Heer Adler, light golden brown liner,Β  and commensurate worn chinstrap. There are faint inscriptions in the liner, possibly a name. On the right side of the helmet is the remnant edge of a decal, consisting of a red and golden yellow shield. It is in hand definitely a period decoration. The Spanish Blue Division wore this type of emblem during their service period, including heroic fighting on the eastern front. The helmet is a rarity, and doubly so in this condition. A must have for the Heer eastern front collection. COA accompanies. (Original blue division ID disc included in this sale).
