RESERVED (Tim) Fine German Cross in Gold (DKiG), 134 Marked

This is a great condition German Cross in Gold (DKiG) by the firm Otto Klein. The cross overall is in very good used condition, with uniform wear and age patina. Referencing the excellent book by Dietrich Maerz, the cross matches the examples and explanations, including the characteristics of the strike of the numbers in the '1941' as well as the wear patterns on the cupal at the edges of the starburst. The cross was many years in the Ron Wolin collection. COA accompanies.
