Fabulous Heer Officer's Visor Cap for General Staff

This cap is a very elegant, lightweight, almost field quality visor cap for Heer General staff. The body of the cap is a fine field gray gabardine twill with magenta piping and edging. The cockade is bullion, in combination with a metal eagle. There is a slight moth nip to the upper front piping. The inside has the cream satin lining with Celluloid sweat shield fully intact, and an ersatz style sweatband. The cap appears nearly unused and is lightweight and flexible in hand. The quality of the workmanship is superior to most caps I've handled,  leading me to think it was not an inexpensive prospect for its original owner to obtain.
