Sharp, Service Used M40 Polizei Helmet by Quist

This Q64, (#DN197) M40 Polizei helmet features double bordered style police decals, the Q schiefergrau finish, and an untouched liner and well-marked strap in handsome, moderately service worn condition throughout. The untouched double ply liner is a hallmark of earlier Quist M40 production helmets. The outer surface of the helmet shows signs of having been whitewashed during its service life, indicating it was not worn by a non-combatant in the rear area, but likely by an anti-partisan or feldgendarmarie member.
