RESERVED (cam) Very Salty, Early Allgemeine-SS Droop Bill Helmet

This droop bill helmet shows the effects of poor storage, which with this type of metal tends to become patinated quickly. The leather interior is by comparison, in better condition. The helmet bears no markings but is the classic droop bill used from the beginning of the SS until about 1936-37. This one never received decals and is unaltered since initially issued. This could potentially be a worthwhile conservation project, that decision left up to the potential new owner. Priced accordingly, COA accompanies.
